About the volunteering opportunity
DUO is a mentoring program for young women and other underrepresented genders who are currently in training.
Your Tasks
To this end, we are now looking for volunteer mentors to support trainees as part of a tandem. The following topics can play a role in individual discussions
- Accompanying trainees on their way to successfully completing their training
- Support in everyday working life during training
- Orientation in career planning
- Reflection on challenging situations in the workplace
- Building and developing professional networks
- Personal development of trainees
- Individual mentoring and support for specific trainee requirements
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
Professional experience, willingness to share knowledge and experience.
Time required
Regularly
Discussed individually
A regular exchange between mentee and mentor is recommended at least twice a month.
Location
This project is location independent.

For our DUO mentoring programme, we are now looking for volunteer mentors to support trainees as part of a tandem. And we are looking for trainees who are looking for individual and trusting support in tandem to stabilize their professional situation.
DUO is aimed at young women and other underrepresented genders in skilled trades, industrial-technical and future-oriented professions, especially in areas that are crucial for the energy transformation and environmental and climate protection. In these male-dominated fields, the participants face additional challenges. The program aims to strengthen skilled workers and create equal opportunities.
