Volunteers wanted for Friday family afternoons at the Weit.Blick family center

The Weit.Blick family and community center in Berlin-Lichtenberg offers a wide range of services for families, children and people from the neighborhood. These include a daycare center, a church and a meeting café. On various Fridays, we organize family afternoons in our café - an open meeting place for everyone who wants to spend time together, play, be creative and experience community. From 4:30 p.m., we also open our daycare garden and playground to our guests.

Activity: You will design and accompany creative craft and play activities for children and families during our family afternoons. Together with the team, you will support an inviting atmosphere with craft activities, singing together, sharing and a free evening meal.

What we are looking for: You enjoy spending time with children and families and helping to design creative activities. You are friendly, open and enjoy working in a team. You treat people with respect and are interested in community and meeting people in the neighborhood.

Requirements: The minimum age is 18 years. As our commitment also includes children and refugees, you will need an extended certificate of good conduct, the costs of which will be covered. Proof of measles vaccination is also required.

Time commitment: Once a week. We would like a regular commitment.

When: On various Fridays from 15:00-18:00. We look forward to a regular or occasional commitment.
