All on one blanket - Siegburg picnics
Bring your own picnic on the Michaelsberg for the "Day of Honor" on the 77th anniversary of the Basic Law
On May 23, 2026, the Federal President has proclaimed the "Day of Honour": a national day of action on which the commitment of volunteers and honorary staff is honored. The aim is to say thank you, raise awareness of voluntary work and encourage people to get involved.
To mark the occasion, we are inviting volunteers from Siegburg to a picnic together on the Michaelsberg. Everyone brings something to eat and we provide the infrastructure and drinks.
We are also organizing hands-on activities for young and old to make the value of diverse community involvement visible and tangible.
