About the volunteering opportunity
DIY in the daycare center
At our BeerenStark daycare center, we focus on the sustainable development of children, including their families. We want to do arts and crafts together with the families of our daycare center children.
80% of the children have a history of migration.
There will be around 15 participants per group.

Your Tasks
- Pottery (with soft clay)
- Kneading, handicrafts, painting etc.,
- exchange ideas with families of non-German origin and thus promote language skills.
You will be accompanied at all times by our social pedagogue Nina.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
- You are patient and like to be creative with your hands
- You are open to people and have good observation skills
- You have previous educational training or experience with children
- You want to get involved on a regular basis and attend the monthly meetings
Time required
Project-based
On weekdays, during the day
- Regular (min. 6 months)
- Start: 01.09.2026 to 01.03.2027
- Wednesdays or Thursdays 14:00-16:30
- weekly or every 2 weeks alternating with another volunteer
