About the volunteering opportunity
Would you like to meet people from all over Europe, get a taste of international conferences and be part of a unique project?
Then become a volunteer at the ORCA Summit 2026 - Outreach Response for Community Access, an international conference on HIV, STI and hepatitis prevention, which will take place in Kiel on September 25-26, 2026.
Your Tasks
What can you expect?
As a volunteer, you are an important part of our team and help us to give guests from many European countries a warm welcome in Schleswig-Holstein.
Your possible tasks:
✅ Welcoming international participants at Kiel Central Station
✅ Assisting with orientation in Kiel and on the way to the hotel or event location
✅ Support for participants during the conference
✅ Support with registration and information
✅ Guidance between event venues
✅ Help with organizational issues and minor challenges of everyday conference life
✅ Assistance with set-up and dismantling as well as general event organization
Who are we looking for?
- Friendly and open-minded people
- Good knowledge of German and English (other languages are welcome)
- Enjoy working with people from different cultures
- Reliability and team spirit
- Minimum age 18 years
