About the volunteering opportunity
The Osterbrooklyn Festival is a volunteer-organized music and culture festival in Hamburg-Hamm on the banks of the Bille.
In order for the festival to take place, we are looking for people who would like to lend a hand and work together to create something beautiful for the district.
The festival thrives on neighborhood, music, encounters and many helping hands. Osterbrooklyn is organized by the non-profit association BOOT e.V. Hamburg.
Your Tasks
We are looking for drivers with their own cars as well as people for our poster crew.
The teams drive together through Hamburg and put up festival posters with cable ties.
Each team consists of one person driving and two people putting up the posters.
No previous experience is required. All you need is a desire to get stuck in, a bit of exercise and a good atmosphere on the road.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity you don't need any German skills.
No special previous knowledge is required.
What is important is reliability, a desire to work in a team and enjoy being on the road together.
The following applies to drivers:

What to bring
We will provide posters, cable ties, a map and a short briefing on site.
Please bring weatherproof clothing, comfortable shoes and something to drink.
Thin gloves are recommended because of the cable ties.

Important notice
The teams are on the road together in Hamburg and return to the meeting point after the tour.
Please pay attention to the applicable road traffic regulations and to mutual safety in traffic during the entire campaign.

BOOT e.V. is a non-profit neighborhood association in Hamburg Hamm-Süd. At Osterbrookplatz 18, we run an open meeting place on the River Bille with a café, free concerts, cultural events and canoe hire.
