Volunteer at the D+W Social Store—meaningful secondhand shopping that promotes sustainability and accessibility for all.
The Diakonie store in Kempten is more than just a secondhand shop. Spanning about 330 square meters, it gives well-preserved goods a new home—and provides people on a tight budget with access to fair prices. It’s a place that combines sustainability and social responsibility. More than 40 volunteers already keep the store running—come join this dedicated team!
Your Tasks
A Wide Range of Responsibilities—There's Something for Everyone!
- Receiving and sorting donated goods
- Merchandise display and pricing
- Assisting with sales and interacting with customers
- Be part of a warm, volunteer-driven team

What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, basic German skills are required.

Opening Hours: Monday and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
