Removing Festival Posters - Crew

After the festival, the event posters need to be removed from the city streets. To do this, a small team drives to various locations and collects the posters that were previously put up.

For this task, we’re looking for people who’d like to take a little tour of Hamburg. While a driver handles the route, the crew gets out at each stop, takes down the posters, and stows them in the vehicle. Many short stops add up to an important contribution to a well-organized festival and a clean neighborhood.

The nonprofit BOOT e.V. is a neighborhood initiative in Hamburg’s Hamm-Süd district. Our events are organized by volunteers and rely on everyone working together to tackle a wide range of tasks.

· Stow the materials in the vehicle

· Reliability and team spirit

· Enjoyment of outdoor activities

· Normal physical fitness

· Attention to detail

· Experience is not required

· Weather-appropriate clothing

· Comfortable shoes

· Work gloves (if you have sensitive skin)

· Side-cutting pliers for cutting cable ties

· Drinks and, if needed, a small snack

· A positive attitude for the group tour

Please arrive at the meeting point on time, if possible.

We will discuss the route and locations together before we start.

The activity involves many short stops where you’ll get on and off. Therefore, comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes are recommended.

The work is always done as a team. Road safety takes priority over speed.
