About the volunteering opportunity
The World Children’s Day Festival at Goetheplatz/Platz der Kinderrechte is a wonderful highlight for children and families every year.
For more than ten years now, the Mainz Child Protection Association has been organizing this family festival together with numerous partners, and the BLAUER ELEFANT Children’s Center, located right on Goetheplatz, plays a central role in the event.
The festival marks World Children’s Day, which is celebrated in Germany on September 20. This day of action aims to raise public awareness of important issues such as child protection and children’s rights and to draw attention to the needs of children.
