What You Should Bring to the Role
- A passion for interacting with others
- Openness and respect for different life stories
- Good knowledge of German
- Depending on the type of volunteer work, about 2–3 hours per week or project-based involvement
Your Tasks
- Language Support in Small Groups
- One-on-one mentoring
- Support with settling into your own apartment
- Social and recreational activities
- Other projects related to integration and social participation
What's needed
Time required
Depending on your commitment, you help decide when and how you’ll get involved. With our language programs, you can plan your volunteer shifts each month based on your availability. For mentoring programs, you and your mentee work together to arrange your meetings on an individual basis.
