Job Description
For ten years, Zeichen gegen Mobbing e. V. has been working to ensure that children and young people can learn without fear or exclusion. Our 2027 anniversary is set to be a special moment: for volunteers, supporters, allies, and partners who make our work possible. As an Event Manager, you’ll ensure that an idea is transformed into a cohesive overall experience—through smart planning, realistic budgets, and a framework that reflects our values. Your dedication will help highlight ten years of social impact and inspire people to support the future of our mission.
Your Tasks
Your Responsibilities
- Work with the team to develop a cohesive concept for the association’s 10th anniversary.
- Plan event schedules, milestones, and organizational processes.
- Research and coordinate suitable venues, service providers, and potential partners.
- Design solutions that achieve a high impact even with limited financial resources.
- Coordinate tasks, responsibilities, and communication among the participating teams.
- Support the planning of the program, catering, guest management, and event framework.
- Identify challenges early on and develop practical solutions.

For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
Your Profile
- You have experience organizing events, projects, or large-scale events.
- You can keep track of things even when juggling multiple tasks at once.
- You have a solution-oriented mindset and find creative ways to work within realistic budget constraints.
- You work in a structured manner and are skilled at coordinating both people and processes.
- You identify with the values of a nonprofit organization.
- You enjoy working with volunteers to create something special.
Time required

Approx. 3 hours per week.
Project-Based
This role involves supporting the preparation and execution of the association’s 10th anniversary celebration. The focus is on planning in the months leading up to the event, as well as providing active support through the day of the event.
Hours
Approx. 3–6 hours per week, occasionally slightly more during certain preparation phases.
Flexibility in Location and Schedule
- Remote work possible
- Flexible scheduling
- Regular coordination meetings with the project team
- Participation in selected planning meetings and, if possible, at the anniversary event itself
