Pigeon Rescue (Lichtenberg) (352023)

Help our team care for the city pigeons at Lichtenberg Station. Through species-appropriate feeding, health checks, and our efforts to establish a pigeon coop, we’re making an important contribution to animal welfare and to the sustainable coexistence of humans and animals.

Take over feeding shifts
Observe and assist the flock of pigeons
Remove trash around the feeding stations
Help with egg replacement for population control
Get involved in building a pigeon loft
Become a foster home for injured or sick pigeons (optional, depending on interest)

A love of animals, reliability, and a passion for hands-on work. No prior experience is required—we’ll be happy to train you.

The time commitment is about 5 hours per week. Assignments can be scheduled flexibly by mutual agreement.

City pigeons depend on our help. We welcome anyone who would like to get involved in protecting and caring for them, whether on a long-term or occasional basis.
