✅ In principle, however, any member can request help.

Your Tasks
☑️ Accompanying someone to the doctor or to run errands
☑️ Assistance with government agencies or daily life
☑️ Help with smartphones, tablets, or computers
☑️ Providing companionship, having coffee together, or going for a walk
☑️ Accompanying you to the movies or events
☑️ Temporary help around the house (e.g., after a hospital stay)
Often, just one or two hours is enough to make a person’s daily life significantly easier.

For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.

Important notice
Here’s what we offer you:
✔️ €6 per hour of service, or alternatively, time credit
✔️ Travel reimbursement of 30 cents per kilometer
✔️ Insurance coverage during every assignment
✔️ A great team and a role that offers a lot of personal recognition
Who can join?

Whether you’re working, retired, a student, an apprentice, or just have some free time—regular shifts are just as welcome as occasional support or help during school or semester breaks.

The Seniorengemeinschaft Landkreis Günzburg e.V. is a private, nonprofit association where members support one another—a kind of organized neighborhood assistance program. Above all, we want to enable our older members to live independently in their own homes for as long as possible.
In addition, we organize lectures, social cafés, movie nights, regular get-togethers, day trips, and much more. Non-members are generally welcome to participate in our events as well.
And although we call ourselves the “Senior Citizens’ Community,” anyone who is at least 16 years old is welcome to join us.
