Visiting people, talking with them, listening, playing, reading, going for walks, and enjoying each other’s company: That’s what quality of life is all about! Get to know us and volunteer with our visiting service for people who need care. We’re a caring team of volunteers and are always happy to welcome new members.

What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
How will I be prepared for my work?
Our volunteers receive professional training in specialized courses to care for people with dementia, mental health conditions, intellectual disabilities, and physical illnesses. We work together to address any questions or concerns you may have.
Volunteering at Diakonie Haltestelle
In return for your commitment, you’ll receive an expense allowance and, in addition, gain many valuable insights and life experiences. You set the schedule yourself, depending on when you’re able and willing to volunteer.
