mehr als wählen – Initiative für innovative Demokratie e.V. sucht 6 engagierte junge Menschen (18–25 Jahre) für die Kern-Jugendarbeitsgruppe unseres mobilen Demokratielabors, dem „DemokratieWagen".
Unter der gemeinsamen Leitung von Sopiko Shaburishvili und Dr. Günter Horn bringt dieses Erasmus+ Projekt interaktive politische Bildung direkt an Schulen im Rhein-Main-Gebiet. Wir suchen motivierte Menschen, die uns bei Koordination, Moderation und Dokumentation unterstützen.

Youth Working Group Volunteer – "DemokratieWagen" (Ages 18–25)
mehr als wählen – Initiative für innovative Demokratie e.V. is looking for 6 dedicated young people (aged 18–25) to join the core Youth Working Group for our mobile democracy lab, the "DemokratieWagen."
Co-led by Sopiko Shaburishvili and Dr. Günter Horn, this Erasmus+ project brings interactive civic education directly to schools across the Rhein-Main region. We're looking for motivated individuals to help coordinate, facilitate, and document this initiative.
Your Tasks
Deine Aufgaben
🔹 Projektmanagement & Koordination – Mitgestaltung von Workshop-Abläufen, Öffentlichkeitsarbeit und Projektzielen
🔹 Content-Erstellung – Filmen, Regie und Schnitt einer digitalen Kampagne (15 Kurzvideos, 2 längere Videos für @mehralswaehlen)
🔹 Workshop-Moderation – Co-Leitung interaktiver Debatten und Rollenspiele für über 350 Schüler:innen (14–20 Jahre)
🔹 Politisches Engagement – Vertretung von Jugendperspektiven bei Dialogveranstaltungen mit lokalen Entscheidungsträger:innen

📅 Wöchentliche Online-Meetings zu Planung, Koordination und Training
📅 15 ganztägige Workshops an Partnerschulen (September–Dezember 2026)
📅 2–3 politische Dialogveranstaltungen mit lokalen Politiker:innen
Your Responsibilities
🔹 Project Management & Coordination – co-design workshop agendas, plan outreach, manage deliverables
🔹 Content Creation – film, direct, and edit a digital campaign (15 short videos, 2 long-form videos for @mehralswaehlen)
🔹 Workshop Facilitation – co-lead interactive debates and role-play for 350+ students (ages 14–20)
🔹 Political Engagement – represent youth perspectives in dialogue events with local decision-makers

📅 Weekly online meetings for planning, coordination, and training
📅 15 full-day workshops at partner schools (September–December 2026)

What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
Dein Profil
✅ Wohnsitz in Frankfurt am Main oder im Rhein-Main-Gebiet (Pflicht)
✅ 18–25 Jahre
✅ Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
✅ Motivation, praktische Erfahrung in Projektmanagement, Koordination und digitaler Content-Erstellung zu sammeln
✅ Erfahrung mit mehr als wählen e.V. von Vorteil
✅ Wir freuen uns besonders über Bewerbungen von Menschen mit Migrationserfahrung, aus Berufsschulen oder mit sozioökonomischen Hürden
Candidate Profile
✅ Must reside in Frankfurt am Main or the broader Rhein-Main region
✅ Aged 18–25
✅ Proficient in German and English
✅ Motivated to gain hands-on experience in project management, coordination, and digital content creation
✅ Prior experience with mehr als wählen e.V. is a plus
✅ We especially welcome applicants with migration backgrounds, vocational training (Berufsschule), or facing socio-economic barriers
