About the volunteering opportunity
As part of our emergency response teams, you will provide assistance and care to those affected during disasters or evacuations. You will be part of Leipzig’s effective disaster response system.
Your Tasks
- Distribution of Food and Clothing
- Psychosocial support for people in emergency situations
- Assistance with setting up emergency shelters
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.
- Interest in helping in emergency situations
- Team spirit and reliability
- Sense of responsibility and commitment
- Willingness to participate in training programs
- Composure and the ability to keep a cool head even in emotionally challenging emergency situations
- A police clearance certificate is required
