About the volunteering opportunity
Do you want to empower people to save lives?
Then support the Water Rescue Service as an instructor for lifesaving courses. You’ll teach children, teens, and adults how to stay safe in the water and cover the material in the lifesaving training program. Along the way, you’ll guide participants from their very first jump into the water all the way to passing their final exam.
Your Tasks
- Conducting Lifesaving Courses
- Teaching theory and practice
- Supporting and motivating participants
- Assisting with the organization of the courses
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, basic German skills are required.
- Enjoys working with people
- Confident swimmer
- Sense of responsibility and team spirit
- Instructor certification is a plus—but can also be obtained through us.
