About the volunteering opportunity

The ReDI Kids Coding Camp is a seasonal program hosted during official school holidays, offering interactive 3-hour workshops where kids explore AI, coding, robotics, drones, and other emerging technologies in a fun, and creative, environment.

We are looking for a volunteer to support our team with organisational and logistical tasks before and during the Coding Camp.

Your Tasks

- Support with general organisation and logistics before and during the workshops
- Help prepare rooms and equipment
- Support the team with check-in and coordination of participants and volunteers
- Join the workshops as observant, if you’re curious and get a first-hand look at the hands-on activities we offer

What's needed

For this volunteering opportunity, basic German skills are required.
No previous experience is required. An interest in coding, programming, and working with kids is a plus!

Time required

Project-based
On weekdays, during the day
One week before the camp: Support with preparation and coordination
19–30 October 2026: Support during the Coding Camp
You do not need to be available every day—we are looking for someone who can support us on several days during this period, depending on their availability.

Important notice

You'll have the opportunity to contribute to an inclusive educational program for children, with a friendly and international team and volunteer community. We'll provide a certificate of volunteering/recommendation letter.

ReDI School of Digital Integration

ReDI School of Digital Integration is a non-profit digital school for newcomers in Berlin. The school offers its students free, high-quality training, the chance to join the startup and digital industry, and a physical platform to connect newcomers to locals.

To support the students in their studies, ReDI equips them with workstations in co-working spaces and access to technical mentors to work in project groups. Apart from technological skills, ReDI also provides know-how of digital entrepreneurs, and connects students early on with the local startup scene and potential employers through networking events.
