About the volunteering opportunity
We manage orchard meadows in Wolfsburg. These orchard meadows serve as biotopes designed, on the one hand, to promote biodiversity—such as that of insects—and, on the other hand, to preserve old fruit varieties that are no longer used in commercial fruit farming as a gene pool.
Your Tasks
- Applying Compost to Young Trees
- Placing variety labels
- Trimming, inspecting, and cleaning birdhouses
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, basic German skills are required.
Enjoying nature and enjoying physical work.
Time required
Once
We need 4 to 6 people. The session will last 3 to 4 hours. The specific date will be determined by mutual agreement.
