About the volunteering opportunity
Our male residents would like to exercise together on a regular basis—for example, fitness, soccer, basketball, or calisthenics. We’re looking for someone who loves sports and would enjoy leading a group of men.
Are you a sports coach, do you have experience in sports, or do you enjoy playing sports yourself? Then we’d love to hear from you! The program can be tailored flexibly—depending on your interests and the residents’ preferences.
On-site, there is a men’s room for fitness exercises, a basketball court, and a soccer field nearby, as well as a large park with outdoor exercise equipment.
Your Tasks
Build relationships with the residents and work with them to find out which sports interest them
Lead sports activities and simple exercises
Regularly lead a group in group sports activities
Work with residents to develop new ideas for sports programs

For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.
A passion for sports and physical activity

On weekdays, during the day, at night
The schedule is flexible and can be arranged jointly. Ideally, the activity will take place on an afternoon starting around 4:00 p.m. The day, time, and frequency can be tailored to the residents’ preferences and availability, as well as to the activities offered and the availability of the volunteer.
Important notice
The sports program is designed to be accessible and open to people with varying levels of athletic experience. The activities are developed in collaboration with the residents and can be adapted based on the group’s interests and abilities. It is important to treat everyone with respect, to be patient, and to be willing to accommodate different needs and backgrounds.
