About the volunteering opportunity
At our nursing home in Kreuzberg, there is an elderly woman, born in 1944, who would like weekly visits and conversations about current events. She is very interested in politics (tending toward the left) and would like to have regular discussions with someone.
Your Tasks
- Visiting and talking with an elderly woman
- If possible, going for walks or other leisure activities
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
You should enjoy working with older adults and be empathetic, as well as reliable and available for at least 4–6 months. But above all, patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in people are important to us.
