Camp4Talents

The “CAMP4TALENTS” series—launched in 2018 by Rebecca Miro—offers children and teens aged 9–15 the opportunity to engage with art and culture. 

The goal is to open up new experiences and perspectives for participants who are growing up in socially, educationally, or financially vulnerable situations. For example, according to national education reports, when a family’s income is low or parents are unemployed or at risk of unemployment, this often has a negative impact on their children’s educational opportunities.

Participation is free of charge for them.

For the individual workshops (hip-hop, graffiti, drumming, band, self-defense, cooking)

experiencedworkshop leadershave alreadybeen assigned. We are also looking for volunteer assistantsto support the workshop leaders in their work with the children and teens.

This support may include, for example, accompanying individual children, helping with tasks, assisting the group, preparing materials, or simply ensuring that the workshop leaders have enough support during the workshop.

It is particularly important to us that volunteers already have experience working with children and teens and enjoy guiding and supporting young people.

Since this involves working with minors, all volunteers must, of course, provide an extended criminal background check as well as appropriate qualifications or verifiable experience working with children and adolescents.

Sneakers for use in the gym, as well as a passion for guiding and supporting young people.

Mon–Thu from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 a.m. to about 6 p.m., since we have the closing event.
