About the volunteering opportunity
We offer walks in the Nuremberg-Mögeldorf neighborhood.
Every second Wednesday of the month between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m., we provide opportunities for personal connections, companionship, and physical activity as part of daily life.
The group is open to all generations, and the program is designed to be easily accessible.
Your Tasks
To that end, we are looking for volunteers who would like to accompany the group and serve as a point of contact. We welcome ideas for how to structure the walk (such as providing historical commentary or collecting flowers).
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, basic German skills are required.

Diakonie Nürnberg-Mögeldorf is a diaconal organization that supports people at various stages of life through services in childcare, long-term care, housing, community programs, and hospice care. From 2025 to 2028, Diakonie Nürnberg-Mögeldorf’s neighborhood project “Wir für alle” (We for Everyone) will strengthen community, social interaction, and volunteerism in the neighborhood through events, the neighborhood café—Café Quelle—and a neighborhood assistance program. The project is funded by the German TV Lottery Foundation.
