Neighborly Help – Give Your Time, Do Good!

Neighborly help means supporting people in their daily lives and being there for one another. Help doesn’t always have to be big or complicated. Often, it’s the little things that make a big difference.

As a volunteer, you can help all kinds of people: with grocery shopping, running small errands, gardening, or going to a doctor’s appointment. But simply spending time together is also a valuable form of help. Maybe someone would prefer to go for a walk with company, would enjoy a cup of coffee and a good conversation, or would like to play a game together. Maybe someone is missing companionship or simply needs someone to listen. You decide for yourself how and in what way you’d like to get involved. After all , neighborhood assistance is as diverse as the people who get involved.
