About the volunteering opportunity
Every week, flyers and advertising leaflets end up in many mailboxes, often disappearing straight into the recycling bin without ever being read. Their production consumes wood, water, and energy. With a small sticker, you can help ensure that less paper is printed and distributed unnecessarily, and your mailbox will stay tidier, too.
Your Tasks
- Get a “No Advertising” sticker—you can find one at a stationery store, online, or through environmental organizations. Alternatively, you can simply make and design one yourself.
- Stick it in a clearly visible spot on or next to your mailbox.
- Feel free to ask your neighbors if they’d like to join in.

You don't need any special qualifications to get involved—just a sticker and a mailbox.

5 minutes, and the effects last permanently.
Important notice
If you no longer want to receive free weekly newspapers, choose a sticker that says “and no free newspapers.” You can also reduce the amount of personalized advertising you receive by signing up for the Robinson List.
