Art & Creativity with Children – Painting, Clay, and More. (364462)

We want to give the children at our shelter the opportunity to discover their creativity and explore their artistic side. To that end, we’re looking for creative and dedicated people who are eager to work with the children to organize small art and creativity workshops.

Whether it’s painting, drawing, working with clay and ceramics, making collages, or other creative techniques—there are no limits to the imagination. Volunteers can contribute their own ideas, skills, and experiences and discover new creative possibilities together with the children.

You enjoy creative activities and trying new things together with children. Prior artistic experience or teaching experience is welcome but not required. What’s important is openness, patience, empathy, and treating children with respect. You’re welcome to bring your own creative ideas and materials.

The schedule is flexible and will be tailored to individual needs. The creative activities take place during the day. The scope and frequency of participation can be arranged by mutual agreement.

The focus is on the joy of creative expression and shared experiences. Please interact with all children in an open and respectful manner, regardless of their background or individual abilities. Be mindful of how everyone treats one another and of the children’s needs. All activities should be voluntary, age-appropriate, and free from pressure to perform. Further details regarding the schedule and general conditions will be discussed before the assignment begins.
