About the volunteering opportunity
The Kleiderkammer Schongau e. V. is a volunteer-run, nonprofit organization that collects donations of used clothing and sells them.
In this way, we help give used clothing a new lease on life and, above all, enable people with low incomes to obtain nice clothes. We donate all proceeds generated from the sale of donated clothing to charitable projects, organizations, and associations in the local area.
The Schongau Clothing Bank was founded in October 2015 to assist refugees and asylum seekers. However, our services are now open to everyone, but especially to those who must make ends meet on a tight budget.

- Helping with sales and clothing drop-offs: Our team works on Wednesdays to handle sales and accept clothing donations.
- Transporting boxes: Our box team drives the heavy boxes full of clothing donations from the clothing bank to the warehouse and back.
