About the volunteering opportunity
Every month we meet at S Warschauer Str. to distribute food and hygiene items (approximately 10–15 items in total, such as deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, toilet paper, wet wipes, tissues, food, umbrellas, resealable bags, soap, etc.) to the homeless. Before the event, we’ll prepack each care package so they’re easy to distribute. After we meet up, we’ll hand out large shoulder bags filled with the care packages that each volunteer can carry as we walk around looking for people to give them to.
Your Tasks
We are looking for volunteers to help carry the items, as that is currently our main constraint. The more volunteers we have, the more people we can help. Both English and German speakers are welcome!

For this volunteering opportunity you don't need any German skills.

Ostdeutsche Obdachlosenhilfe
Our mission is to provide quick, straightforward, and direct assistance to homeless people. We distribute food and hygiene supplies and fund temporary, safe places to sleep. We offer this assistance to homeless people right on the street, so that we can reach even those who would not seek help on their own. Our goal is to give hope and support to people in difficult situations through monthly relief efforts.
