Support us at our first OFA Winter Market!

On December 6, 13, and 20, 2026, we at OFA Impact e. V., a young nonprofit organization based in Stuttgart, will transform Österreichischer Platz into a lively winter market.

On three Sundays during Advent, we’ll bring people together with live music, poetry slams, art, international delicacies, market stalls, and creative hands-on activities. A place to discover, enjoy, and connect. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome, regardless of income, background, age, or religion.

It’s especially important to us that people with limited financial means can also participate. With our OFA Coins, we provide free food and drinks, and through the OFA Christmas Wishes program, we fulfill small wishes for children from financially struggling families. And at our OFA Street Station, we distribute free clothing, food, and hygiene products.

To make all of this possible, we need your active support.

You don’t need any prior experience—just a desire to get involved. We look forward to seeing you!

We’re looking for volunteers to help out in various areas for our winter market:

You can help us on one or more days of the event. Together, we’ll figure out which area suits you best. Prior experience isn’t required for most tasks.

You should be reliable, a good team player, and have a friendly demeanor when interacting with people. No prior experience is required for most tasks.

Depending on the role, we welcome experience in the food service industry, face painting for children, first aid, or technical fields. Physical stamina is helpful for setting up and taking down equipment.

Please bring warm, weatherproof clothing and sturdy, comfortable shoes. Since the event takes place partly outdoors in December, you should be prepared for winter temperatures.

We’ll provide the necessary materials on site.

The winter market will take place on December 6, 13, and 20, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. each day. We also need help setting up and taking down the market before and after the event.

You can volunteer for one or more days. We’ll work with you to coordinate the exact times and tasks.

Reliability is especially important to us. Since we rely on the support of our volunteers, we ask that you commit to the shifts you’ve agreed to. Of course, unforeseen circumstances can always arise. In that case, please let us know as soon as possible so we can make alternative arrangements.
