About the volunteering opportunity

We are a voluntary organization of active senior citizens. The seniors are trained for their work in schools and help pupils to resolve conflicts non-violently through mediation.

In addition, the senior partners also offer one-to-one discussions in difficult life situations. They are the point of contact for children whose worries and needs cannot be adequately addressed in day-to-day school life. Confidential conversations help to relieve the children and allow them to concentrate better on their lessons.

Your Tasks

After an aptitude interview, we offer committed people aged 55 and over high-quality training to become volunteer mediators. And it's free of charge!

Certified trainers lead the training with 16 participants each time. In this way, we gain mediator teams for up to eight additional schools through each training season.
