About the volunteering opportunity
We are a private initiative of Lindenthal citizens. The cooperation of volunteers, churches, associations and other partners is intended to promote the coexistence of citizens and refugees in Lindenthal. We are always looking for volunteer supporters, including younger people, to get in touch with refugees of the same age.
We are available for around 150 people in the Lindenthal district. We find out who needs support and when by contacting the home managers and during our visit days every two months.
Your Tasks
We are looking for you to help people with refugee experience in Cologne-Lindenthal and Cologne-Marsdorf to find their own home. This includes actively looking for accommodation in the local newspaper, online, housing exchanges, registration with the housing office and other formalities and - after a successful search - help with the move.
