About the volunteering opportunity
Our association has been campaigning for the health concerns of women and girls for many years. With our feminist and holistic approach to health, we are a critical voice in the healthcare system and our advice and information services are a necessary addition to existing healthcare provision.
Your Tasks
Help us to advise and support women and girls with health problems, with a focus on gynecological diseases.
We support you with your concerns in open counseling, individual counseling, courses, events and in self-help groups. The library provides information on women's health issues.

What's needed
Volunteers must be native German speakers.
- Age (at least) 18 years
- extended certificate of good conduct required
- preferably experience of working independently

The Office for Civic Commitment of the AWO Cologne is a consulting service. People who are willing to volunteer will receive advice and will be placed in organisations that work with volunteers. Further priority will be given to LESEMENTOR Cologne, young volunteers, further education and voluntary refugee work.
