About the volunteering opportunity
We have been committed to women's health in Cologne for over 40 years. Our aim is to share knowledge and empower women and girls to make self-determined decisions about their bodies and their health. To this end, we offer independent advice, a wide range of events and self-help groups.

Your Tasks
Our health center is looking for support for its volunteer team.
Are you a social worker, social education worker, doctor, pharmacist or do you have experience in health, counseling or administration?
Perhaps you are also undergoing additional training in counselling or would like to get involved in organizational and project-related work? Then we look forward to hearing from you.
Our dedicated team is looking for reinforcement in various areas relating to women's health and psychosocial support. We are looking for women who would like to contribute their professional, organizational or practical skills - for example in counselling, health education, project support, administration or event organization.

What's needed
Volunteers must be native German speakers.

The Office for Civic Commitment of the AWO Cologne is a consulting service. People who are willing to volunteer will receive advice and will be placed in organisations that work with volunteers. Further priority will be given to LESEMENTOR Cologne, young volunteers, further education and voluntary refugee work.
