About the volunteering opportunity
For our new family program'Families at one table' we are still looking for local tandem families who would like to get to know and accompany a refugee family!
Families at the Table' is a project that brings together refugee families and families who have been living in Germany for a long time in a tandem partnership. Thereby you as a whole family have the opportunity for exchange and encounter.
The family tandems are closely supervised and accompanied, and within the framework of group events and excursions we deal with culinary and cultural diversity together! If you as a family want to actively shape integration and enjoy cooking and eating,'Families at the Table' is just right for you!
Your Tasks
In the context of the program you take part in common cooking events and excursions, once a month on a Saturday from 14-18 clock. In consultation with the families, dates can be arranged individually.
Together with your tandem family you arrange individually to get to know each other better, to play together, to cook or for other leisure activities.
What's needed
We are looking for families with children.
