Über den Tellerrand Frankfurt e.V. brings people with and without refugee background together at the dining table. Cooking together, eating together, shaping an open society together - this is how we create spaces for encounters at eye level.
Über den Tellerrand Frankfurt e.V. is only one of more than 30 satellite locations of the Über den Tellerrand-community. Our services range from open cooking events and museum visits to hiking tours and special mentoring and tandem programmes.
Our target group are refugees and locals alike, because we want to bring people of different origins and with different stories together at eye level.
We are financed by public subsidies, foundation funds and donations from private individuals and companies. We also run a social business: we sell our cookbooks and offer cooking courses.
Our aim is to enable encounters at eye level between refugees and their native inhabitants.
