About the volunteering opportunity
With the "Pinselpost" campaign, we would like to bring variety, colour and joy into the everyday life of care facilities. We want the residents to know they are not alone.
Your Tasks
Whether you paint or do handicrafts, write little letters and poems - there are no limits to your creativity. Ink or colored pencil drawings, decorative handicrafts, window pictures, action painting, spring photos, poems or thoughts... Everyone can make, write or paint something what people in need of care are happy about.
Then simply put the artwork in an envelope and send it to one of the participating care institutions or bring it by. The addresses of our facilities are listed here.

What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
- Fun and interest, to create small handicrafts and pictures
- A stamp or the possibility to put the mail in the post box of the receiving institution

This project is location independent.

For around 70 years, we have been committed to social justice in Germany and effectively represent the concerns of older people and people with disabilities vis-à-vis authorities, social courts and politicians. In Berlin and Brandenburg, we also operate various support and advice centres, for example in the areas of participation, care and mobility.
