About the volunteering opportunity
The mentoring program is aimed at people who want to get involved in the form of a 1:1 sponsorship either for a family in a stressful situation or for a family with a flight background. Family mentors support and relieve a family as a personal contact person and confidant where they need and want it.

Important notice
Attending the basic modules is a prerequisite for volunteer sponsorship at the Kinderschutzbund. They serve as preparation for volunteering, to get to know each other and as an aptitude test. Afterwards, the sponsorship can begin.
Before participating in the basic training courses, we conduct a personal introductory interview with the interested person.
A certificate of good conduct is also required. We will be happy to explain what this is all about in the introductory meeting.

The next information evenings about our volunteer programs will take place online via Zoom on 29 April 2026 and 14 October 2026 from 6-7 pm.
