Looking for speakers at workshops and seminars

As an association that does cultural and educational work, we are looking for speakers at regular intervals to lead and conduct seminars and workshops for us/with us.

These will mainly be workshops in the field of education, for example for our mentors, but also educational workshops for school children, for example in holiday programs. Also for the work with parents and occasionally in the cultural field.

Your Tasks

You could get involved in these areas of responsibility:

• Qualification of the mentors in pedagogical and didactical areas
• Further training and strengthening of mentors/students/young people in personal and professional terms
• Development of social competences
• Formation of a network among each other as well as with professionals from different fields
• Application coaching and coaching for first-year students
• Coaching on the topics: Self- and time management, self-confidence, motivation and gratitude, conflict management, self-perception and perception of others
• Seminar on the topic of personality development
• Language support
• Media education
• Learning difficulties and learning disabilities solve or learn to understand
• Business Turkish

What's needed

• Professional experience
• Pleasure in dealing with children and young people
• Pedagogical competence
• Interest in the German-Turkish Forum

Time required

The German-Turkish Forum Stuttgart e. V. (www.dtf-stuttgart.de) is a politically and religiously neutral organisation, supported by the regional capital Stuttgart, among others. It was founded in 1999 by German and Turkish citizens. Our main focus is on school and extracurricular education, cultural programmes in music, literature, film and theatre, as well as the creation of diverse encounters and political discussion forums. Our office with five full-time staff is located in the heart of Stuttgart city centre.
