About the volunteering opportunity
- Voluntary tutoring, exam preparation and language mentoring for refugees.
- Arranging cultural events, music lessons and sports activities to promote integration and participation.
- Voluntary language mediation/interpreting in the languages of the refugees.
- Assistance in finding accommodations.
Your Tasks
We are looking for committed people who would like to volunteer their time to help us give refugees prospects.

The Willkommensbündnis, founded in 2014 and volunteering since then with hundreds of supporters in Steglitz-Zehlendorf, is the first point of contact for voluntary refugee work in this Berlin district, where more than 300,000 people live and where many refugees have found shelter, seeking perspective for themselves and their families. We support them in school education, language sponsorships and exam preparation, in finding training and jobs, legal advice, finding accommodation, participation in cultural and sports activities and much more.
