About the volunteering opportunity
Newly arrived refugees know little about the social, political and legal situation in Germany. The Infobus offers them advice on asylum and residence law directly on site in refugee accommodation.
Your Tasks
As a counsellor or translator, you will travel with our team to the various initial accommodation centres in Munich and give advice on asylum law or translate. (Volunteers are currently not able to accompany the team due to the pandemic).

The project Gemeinsam Aktiv of the MFR is a meeting point for all new and old Munich residents who want to volunteer in the refugee sector. In order to ensure that volunteers are not left alone, our volunteer coordinators are there to support them. At the monthly information evenings, those who are interested will be informed about the possibilities of voluntary work. Afterwards, contacts between refugees and volunteers are established and adapted to the different demands. Regular networking meetings provide an opportunity to exchange experiences.
