About the volunteering opportunity
We are looking for project managers for various projects at Serve the City Berlin. We would be happy to talk to you and discuss what your involvement as a project leader could look like.
If you have never done a project with Serve the City before, we recommend that you first take part in one of our action days as a volunteer. You can find the dates either on our website (servethecity.berlin) or here on Vostel. Here you can find out more about the organization and the tasks of the project manager and then decide whether you would like to join us!
In general, we expect you to lead at least one project per month, but of course this also depends on your availability.
Your Tasks
Training and participation in a number of workshops are required to become a project manager. You will then manage projects independently, hopefully soon in practice. You will also take part in coaching sessions and receive feedback in one-to-one meetings.
As a project leader, you will make sure that the volunteers know where to go and what they will be doing. You also let the organization in which the group is working know exactly when you will be coming, with how many people, etc. On the day itself, you usually introduce Serve the City and/or take care of volunteer registrations and make sure the project is successful and the volunteers have a great day! At the end of the day, hopefully you'll have taken a few photos to post on our Facebook page. That's it!

STC Berlin e. V. mobilizes volunteers to show an act of kindness in a practical way. We do with a very hands-on approach by painting walls, serving food, visiting people, playing games, making music, organising sports festivals, through art and creativity, collecting garbage and much more. We serve children, youth and adults, older people, people with disabilities, homeless people and other people who are on the margins of society or in need of help.
