dabei.sein tandems - meeting & exchanging ideas with people who have experienced flight or migration

The "dabei.sein Tandems" project brings new and old Berliners, people with and without refugee or migration experience together to enable new encounters, exchanges and shared experiences. You will have the opportunity to get to know other cultures, make new friends and thus strengthen social cohesion and promote the participation opportunities of people with refugee experience. The focus is on joint leisure activities and an exchange on an equal footing.

You meet, spend your free time together and experience the exciting world of your counterpart. In a short-term commitment of initially three meetings, you can, for example, visit cultural events, cook together, go on excursions or help with German practice and other matters. If you get on well and you both like it, you can continue the sponsorship.

You should have time and willingness for at least three meetings and of course curiosity and openness for a respectful interaction with each other.
