Then we are looking for you to volunteer as a job sponsor in a shelter for refugees in Cologne Porz.
We are looking for:
Committed Cologne residents with an affinity for digital media and a routine in using digital devices (smartphone, tablet, laptop)
We network you with other volunteers and offer you a connection to the qualified social work professionals on site.
In addition, you will receive free training opportunities for your professional development during and after your studies/training.
Qualification/ Training
- Training on the topics of closeness and distance/ Sensitization in dealing with (sexualized) violence/ Sensitization for the protection of children/ Sensitization on the topic of anti-discrimination and anti-racism
- Integration into the project job sponsors/ Qualification via 'Aktion neue Nachbarn' (Action New Neighbors)

- Age: (min.) 18 years
- Certificate of good conduct necessary
Services
The Office for Civic Commitment of the AWO Cologne is a consulting service. People who are willing to volunteer will receive advice and will be placed in organisations that work with volunteers. Further priority will be given to LESEMENTOR Cologne, young volunteers, further education and voluntary refugee work.
