About the volunteering opportunity
We are currently looking for women to support us in the learning support for girls. The learning support takes place every Wednesday between 16:30 and 18:00 and is supervised by at least two people. Special attention is given to the language support of German as a foreign language and the individual personal support.
Your Tasks
The aim is to give all girls, regardless of their background, disability or level of achievement, access to education and participation. In addition to the school contents, the personal contact with each other is in the foreground. Therefore, we organise excursions and activities during the holidays, which are planned together with the girls. We welcome new impulses and support and offer the opportunity to implement your own ideas and offers.

The Office for Civic Commitment of the AWO Cologne is a consulting service. People who are willing to volunteer will receive advice and will be placed in organisations that work with volunteers. Further priority will be given to LESEMENTOR Cologne, young volunteers, further education and voluntary refugee work.
