About the volunteering opportunity
We are looking for your voluntary support for our project, a learning support program for girls aged 6 to 14. In our learning support program, we help the girls to develop their academic and social skills.
Your Tasks
Depending on capacity, you can support the educational staff 1-2 times a week for 2-3 hours with homework help, educational games or creative exchange. If you are interested, have a human rights-based, feminist attitude and would like to give your knowledge and time to girls, we look forward to hearing from you.

What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.
- Age (at least) 16 years
- extended certificate of good conduct required

- Enjoy dealing with young people

Important notice
Accessibility for volunteers with disabilities
Our store is located on the first floor and there is a mobile ramp, e.g. for women with walkers. Unfortunately, the rooms are not completely barrier-free as the toilet door is not wide enough for a wheelchair.

The Office for Civic Commitment of the AWO Cologne is a consulting service. People who are willing to volunteer will receive advice and will be placed in organisations that work with volunteers. Further priority will be given to LESEMENTOR Cologne, young volunteers, further education and voluntary refugee work.
