About the volunteering opportunity
When the child needs exercise, but the playground is cold, windy and uncomfortable, they are looking forward to the winter playground!
Your Tasks
You will help prepare and air the premises, and make coffee. You will greet guests, play with children (0- 6 years) from time to time and take on the role of host for parents and grandparents. After the winter playground closes at 6pm, you will address cleanliness deficiencies and assist with clean up.
You should have a heart for families.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.
Expected attitude: You are convinced that every person has an inalienable dignity and are prepared to act in accordance with the Code of Conduct of the Berlin City Mission. You are respectful of the Christian faith as well as other religions and world views.
Requirements: Because this is a voluntary position with children, an extended certificate of good conduct in accordance with § 30a BZRG for purposes of § 72a SGB VIII is required for volunteers. In addition, a measles vaccination is required and a Covid-19 vaccination is desirable.
