About the volunteering opportunity
We would like to arrange reading mentorships.
We connect people who would like to read aloud with people who would like to be read to.
The sponsorships are open to everyone. We would like to arrange sponsorships especially for people with disabilities in residential groups. However, we are also open to requests from senior citizens' homes, residential homes or people or children from our neighbourhood.
The idea is to create a sponsorship where people meet regularly to read to each other.
We take over the mediation and the accompaniment of the reading sponsorship.
Your Tasks
As the person reading aloud, you should meet regularly with your reading mentor and read aloud for about half an hour.
The literature is chosen together with the person in the sponsorship.
We are happy to help with the selection of literature and other questions.

Time required
Important notice
- We need an extended police certificate of good conduct, should a sponsorship arise
