About the volunteering opportunity

We provide food for homeless people and people in need at Cologne Central Station. Every Tuesday and Saturday, we make our way to the bus station at Breslauer Platz and distribute hot food, hot and cold drinks, fruit and sandwiches to anyone who lacks the money or the strength to look after themselves - regardless of the weather or time of year. We also provide people with sleeping bags, blankets and clothing as required and give advice on practical help and social services. And there is also plenty of personal conversation on these evenings, which is often very important for many guests in addition to the food.

Your Tasks

As a driver, you will drive our equipment to and from the main station and take part in a supply run:
A vehicle is available for the trips. This activity also includes loading and unloading the car (before and after the supply rounds). This is supported on site by other volunteers.

Our benefits
  • Exchange of experience
  • Reimbursement of costs incurred
  • Liability insurance
  • Accident insurance
