About the volunteering opportunity
Currently, we are in the process of designing a project that is intended to promote the participation of people with disabilities in the digital space. To this end, some residential groups will first be equipped with digital devices. At the beginning there will be a training for all interested employees, residents and volunteers. Afterwards, you will be available as a digital mentor to support individual residents with their questions
Your Tasks
On site you will be the contact person for residents and support them in the use of digital devices. You are available for questions and provide your knowledge.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
You have basic smartphone or tablet skills and are willing to engage in direct contact with people with various intellectual disabilities.
Time required
Project-based
The amount of time and the days of the week can be determined by individual agreement. After the first training, an accompaniment for 6 months is initially planned. After this period, an extension is possible, but not mandatory.
