About the volunteering opportunity
The vacation care of the assistance service is offered in groups of six to eight children with disabilities. The program includes handicrafts, walks, barbecues and excursions. Together with the other volunteers and the specialist you create a colorful and entertaining vacation week for the children.
Your Tasks
You will look after individual children, play with them and help with their care. You will be assisted by a specialist who will show you around and answer your questions
What's needed
A prerequisite is that you first visit one of the offers of the assistance service, so that you get to know the work and we can get to know you. If you are open to new things, enjoy meeting people and want to spend your time wisely, then you are welcome to join us. A sufficient measles and Corona vaccination protection is a prerequisite and also an extended certificate of good conduct. We will support you in applying for the certificate of good conduct and there are no costs for you.
You will get an insight into new worlds of life, get to know nice people and adjust to the children, young people and adults with their very different needs and possibilities.
Time required
Most of the leisure activities for people with disabilities take place on Saturdays, some on Sundays. You can participate in individual activities or be there regularly - just as it suits you. You will receive an expense allowance for your efforts.
