About the volunteering opportunity
Our children and youth facility is looking forward to volunteer engagement in the field of housekeeping. It is about buying food and cooking for and (if there is interest) with children and young people and eating together.
Your Tasks
In contact with the children and young people, the volunteer is guided by pedagogical professionals. In the school vacations there is the possibility to participate in excursions of the children and youth facility free of charge.
What's needed
Requirements:
- Extended certificate of good conduct
- Mind. 18 years
- Fun with cooking and healthy food

Time required
Per day about 2.5 hours between 12:00- 16:00, also single days possible.

The Office for Civic Commitment of the AWO Cologne is a consulting service. People who are willing to volunteer will receive advice and will be placed in organisations that work with volunteers. Further priority will be given to LESEMENTOR Cologne, young volunteers, further education and voluntary refugee work.
